Climate Change is the defining crisis of our time. It’s an invisible threat that impacts every aspect of our lives. From the air we breathe, to the food we eat, and the homes we live in – nothing is immune from its reach.
But what would happen if our planet overheats? If sea levels rise, wildfires rage uncontrollably, and extreme weather becomes the norm?
This is the reality many people are already facing. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, we could see a catastrophic global temperature rise of 2-3 degrees within this century. That’s unless we take immediate and drastic action.
The time for complacency is over. We must act now to mitigate the effects of climate change and safeguard our planet for future generations.
Description
The image is printed on Hahnemühle Hemp Eco Fine Art paper, made with 60% hemp fibres and 40% cotton linters – a leftover from the oil and textile industry, which gives it a natural look and feel, and reduces the environmental impact of the paper. The paper is also acid-free, ligning-free and OBA-free, making it perfect for long-term display. The print studio I use is carbon-neutral. Prints are produced on demand to reduce waste, and I use drop shipping to reduce the distance the print travels to reach you.
The I AM IMPACT Project is a campaign to raise awareness about the climate crisis and the importance of citizen action. Through powerful photography and moving stories, the project highlights the need for all of us to do our part in protecting this vital resource.
One way you can help is by purchasing one of the stunning prints from The I AM IMPACT Project. 10% of the sale of each print will go to the HIP Gallery until 31 December 2023 to support them in continuing their work in the Humber region. 100% of profits are donated to on-the-ground grassroots organisations towards supporting communities worst affected by the impacts climate change.

The shoot itself was done using only daylight, and all participants travelled to the studio using pedal power and low-emissions vehicles, within 5km of home.
